He's not a household name, but is definitely a HUGE signing for them.

Good kid is Gav...

Good for PNU if that's the case but disappointing that he's not going to have another crack at AFL or SANFL.

Tis the rumour I've heard.

Davis boy's from Houghton??

Josh and Liam? Aren't they both out at the Redlegs? Either of them would be a fine pick up for PNU. Have heard Old Iggies are looking good with their team on paper but, like we all know, too early pre-season to be making big judgements on premiership favourites like over on divvy1 and 2 forums!

Josh @ PNU.

Liam training with Norwood. Watched a bit of their training last night and he looks very, very fit and would be aiming to crack the senior side this year. Not sure which amateur club he'll be transferring to this year though.

Depends on what Norwood would want I'd think. From my brief time in the 19's at a league club, they definitely requested that if you weren't playing at Norwood that you play at a particular standard (usually div 1 or 2). I'd dare say this would be the same to anyone on the fringe of making reserves.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Just saying it doesn't matter because he's not just on the fringe of making Reserves, I reckon they'd be looking at getting him on the senior list and being on the fringe of League games, so the closest he'll get to an ammos game is watching from the boundary.

Hopefully he's not eating too much, big money on the weigh in when he returns. Some team mates are very harsh on predicated returning weight.
And every team mate (and member of the coaching staff) has now lost their money, the lack of faith is/was disappointing. ;)

Liam Jurrah an asset? He can't get his life in order with all the professional help AFL clubs have available so not sure how - besides his obvious footy talent - he would be a help to any club. Just an opinion, but I reckon our small country & SAAFL clubs need more than just good players.
