If SA can somehow beat Victoria then the competition will be really close with QLD and VIC currently the leaders on 20 points.

The main interest point though may lie in the competition for some Ashes spots. There is at least 1 batting spot, 1 spinners spot and 1 wicket keeping spot up for grabs so now is the time for those on the fringe to perform. Will be interesting following the Shield performances for the rest of the season.

You make no sense. You have a dig at me because I constantly bag him, then admit he's not a real cricketer? I base my assessment of him on what I see now, and that's a bloke with the worst technique ever, bowls pies, but can field really good. Somehow that is enough to see him constantly selected for Australia.
