I am hearing good things about the new HFL board members and their new direction. Seems they have spent plenty of time mulling over many areas and are about to reinvest in the welfare of all clubs, not just a couple of favourites.

Going about things the way it should be done, as distinct from Owen who did it his way for years without much accountability. The clubs are the league, not the other way around and I am certain there are a couple of smart people now at the helm who will change things for the betterment of the whole league.

Good. This is what we have hoped for. After a year of settling in for the new helmsmen, it's time to look after all clubs equally. This would be no easy task for the faint-hearted as Owen's ute is still outside the HFL most days and many nights!
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Not much gossip on here boys.... any news on any teams losing or gaining players. Seen Jack bampton back training at lobethal and looking as fit as a fiddle. Should strengthen the midfield up for the young tigers this year

Is that the same kid that won the U15 or U17 medal 2 or 3 years ago with a million votes?

Not sure. Jack hasn't got the size to be really successfull in the SANFL. But his younger brother Peter is an absoulute gun.
A lot bigger than Jack and really knows how to find the footy.
I feel he has real chance at the highest level.

Yep they are. Jack was missed last year due to and injury, he will definitely make a difference to the mid field and be a great support to Nitscke and the Jenkin boys. Knows how to get the ball.
