Back to D7 to fill Ovies spot
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Good to see that there will be a game / games to decide who is the "Pride of the Peninsula" for 2013
Should add a bit of spice to the clashes.
Hopefully there will be 3 games to ensure there is a clear winner for the year

Any ideas of who else may be in, Ovingham maybe (but they only have one side)

Pt Districts will be the D8 side and Ovingham will be the D8R side

Does that mean Ovingham will play their home games down at Pt Districts?

surely they would have to follow Pt Districts all season? part of the appeal of this comp was keeping your C and D grade together

no home games would mean no money taken over the bar?

Yeah, that's what I was getting at.
Mind you, if for one, at most 2 rounds in the season they were split, it's not the worst thing in the world I guess.

if teams only play each other twice during the season, the split off of your Cs going to districts and your Ds having to go to Ovingham will only occur ONCE - no dramas really

Correct, mind you it will happen to two teams twice (8 team comp = 3 teams twice, 4 teams 3 times).

Having never seen Pt Districts or Ovingham play, based on last year who would win between these two. If ovingham are the better side shouldnt they be the Div 8 side and Port Districts be the Div 8R. Surprised to see Port Districts come into this comp, surely C1 side wouldve come in or Unley who beat Port Districts last season. Whats the better comp C1 or Div 8? (I know Div 8 is for teams with D grade, just asking the question)

I would say that they would be on par with each other, most of the good teams in Div8 would do fine in C1 and vice versa, the lower sides that struggled would probably struggle in either. Broadview finished third in C1 then went and won the Div 8 flag so still around the mark. If anything div 8 might be slightly easier because of the lower grade C grades in the comp like last year we were a div 4 C grade, North Haven Div 5 C grade etc.
