without it there is zero record of games played since 2004

id hope iscore can provide a digital backup of the records to the SAAFL? else all is lost

Even now the dependence from the SportingPulse Website to Iscore is lost on the seasons from 2004-2011
http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=1-114-0-0-0

Has the SAAFL decided to cut ties with this data? or will it be restored?

this is not a swipe at the league, merely a question of curiosity?

Marbles, I was asking this last April when the SAAFL changed over to sportingpulse lol, so who knows. :?

Cheers for posting that link to mestic.com, I couldn't find it in the past few months when trying to look up previous results.

Apparently it's in the processes of being transferred over and with any luck should be done within the next month or so.

Bumped into a bloke from PHOS yesterday and was very interested to hear about some of the new incoming coaches philosophies, structures and plans. It will be interesting to see how they go...
- Training Wednesday and Thursday
- 45 mins skills sessions only
- No training in heavy rain
- A grade squad to do their own fitness work

Good luck this year Phantoms.

Its Div 1, they should all be self motivated. Pretty sure the leadership group is doing some sort of running fitness thing for those that dont like to do it alone. You might be right on this one GW but as someone who does all their own fitness work albeit for a much much lower grade it can actually work. Time will tell.

Not sure about the no training in the rain  , but I can see the theory behind it. Often blokes are still sore Tuesday especially as the year goes on and have a light night on the track anyway. He's obviously looking to maximise the numbers, time, quality of training and not go through the motions because historically its been done one way or the other.

Not bad thinking

My Phantom source tells me the lads like the structure. That can be half the battle even. If the boys are keen on it and want to make it work it might be a key to unlock the door to some success. Excuse the piss poor metaphor

With a training program like that I thought Grenville Dietrich must be the new coach ;)

G'day guys - without having to read through all the pages, and sorry if it has been mentioned - but whats the word on ex-pie Leon Davis?

Has he signed for a Div 1 team? I believe it was out of Uni and also a Southern League club?

Cheers

His profile is still on the Perth Football Clubs website. I'm pretty sure he signed a 3year deal for them last year.
