I guess the question is, has he already signed at districts? If so, I wouldn't think he'd get cleared to go anywhere?
If not, he surely would know whether he wants to stay at districts, or earn some coin in the country. I'm sure there would be a few country clubs prepared to pay him around the 1k/game mark. So surely he had decided either staying put, or playing country. There's no point holding an Saafl club to ransom (not saying he's doing that though) for an extra 50/game when you're still 500/game behind the other offers.
Just my thoughts though.

Complete made up junk . Considering 99% players aren't paid there and the ones that are are on peanuts. And I personally know the president of the club and mates that are on the committee . Not a case of player inflating his own figures ?

Maybe a little bit more truth to that rumour, i think he will still play but has just bought outright a business, so he will be no doubt be putting footy on the backburner while he concentrates on running the books. Huge loss for Gepps if he can't play much.

word on the street is Kilburn so wrapped up in their A grade going 3-peat and going back to div 1 that they have neglected to acknowledge a handfull of players who are fringe A grade/B grade players, who have now sought better opportunities else where..

Kilburn A grade will be good, but the B grade will struggle to win a game..

It would appear Johncock is not a club man as he has been linked to half the club in SA during the off season and is only driving up his price at Port Districts.
