New players are welcome to come along and check the club out, meet the coaches and grab a training schedule.

I'll have the ice bath cranking for us elderly types.

Sorry i cant make it ;)

Good, you'd only take up all the space in the ice bath

Hahaha. Seriously, good luck this year Q, your best is good and your home ground advantage is massive. I remember back in 2007 when Edwardstowns 'C' grade came out there in a bus and got over you guys in a close one. The team all walked back in to the clubrooms singing the club song like they had won a GF. Unfortunately the A's and B's had both lost that day, but at least we all had something to get pis......d over. If my memory serves me correct I reckon you guys went very much upwards after that, to Div 6?

Edwardstown? Was it a trial game? Have never played Edwardstown in my time and we were in D6 in '07.

Things are looking good so far, had thirty to our first training session, and have signed a few new players. Would like a bit of good luck this year after having none last year, so thanks for the well wishes.

Have IF promised their recruits they'll be playing D6 in order to get them to sign?

Definately not. All recruits are aware we are in div 7.....However i have heard a rumour very recently that TTG do not want to play div 6 and will pull out the rule book to make sure this happens and the stance taken will be 1 up and 1 down. With all the factual conversations and post you hear this time of year, IF will be preparing to play div 7 until otherwise informed or offered AND THEN IT WILL BE A COMMITTEE DISICION WITH INPUT FROM THE COACHING GROUP AND PLAYING GROUP.
