dont think any div 1 club would want players not on the roster trainning with them no real advantage to the club.....but in a lower div's its good for preseason cause it lifts the others around you to push harder...we had 3 sanfl players out last night at trainning and the tempo was solid

As a Div 1 club, i would disagree with that. We had a group of guys train with us from Waikerie for a pre season, and the next year 3 of them signed up. Same with a guy from Renmark. Understanding that they did move back home after a couple years, but it helped us win a flag during that time. As for these boys, as hard as it would be to take that they left the club, if they didn't like it at Freeling and were still training with Broadview, it would be an easy tranistion back.

i guess it can work both ways for a div 1 club then......broadview wouldnt have that sort of cash on hand to get them back its hard for any player to go from the good life in country to the city for peanuts

or you could have the "luck" Gaza had by having a Loxton lad train/play there and then return the favour by returning to Loxton and taking 3 players with him. Have to take the good with the bad in footy...

Would say they are doing pre season and may train out there throughout the year when not treking to Freeling

Correct.

Good for the young group to have these 2 quality players train with us. Helps lift the standard. They knew a few of the blokes out there as well which helps them

I'm sure we could find a spot for them if things didn't work out at Freeling ;)

Better story for this forum would have been they have turmed there back on Freeling and are playing at Hope Valley for big dollars.

Geez, if Beau Jarman was suiting up, you'd be seeing a hell of a lot more of Sam  Only problem is that she'd ignore everyone else and become his personal rub down girl

Why the shock EM? They have four senior sides and an under 18s. That's at least 105 players. Unless S and C means new players, which is just ridiculous.

Exactly, I was just going with the minimum of 5 teams of 21 players.

I heard Mawson Lakes had 54 out to their 1st session with only A, B & C grades.
I know they are not in Div 4 but I thought I would point it out as a few people were surprised by GG's 60.
Mawson Lakes seem to be getting stronger every year.

Only 512, I'm sure I saw 291,836

All new players, all between 6'2-6'7, all built like brick sh*thouses, all ex SANFL, WAFL, VFL, AFL, WorldFL, UniverseFL, GalaxyFL players

Not paying any of them either.
