Reynella similar, 5 for 392. Big day for the lads. Rostrevor spat it after we got their score 220 and the game turned to a farce. Pretty poor by the ROCS players.

Hey guys, our club through our coordinator put in a for or something for use of the kilburn oval on the 5th, and asked for a pitch to be done, I find it unlikely this can happen does any one know if there would be any chance the council would get one prepared, it was for an internal fund raiser game, cheers if any one knows coz **** if I do

Most Councils have staff on during the Xmas-NY period, they should get a deck up.

T20 - Div 1 - Round of 16

Brahma Lodge v Hectorville - Could be a close one, but I recon the Lodge will take the win.
Old Scotch v Goodwood - Goodwood have slowed after their great start to the year, but will still be too classy for Scotch.
Woodville South v Grange - Even without Youngy Grange will be too good.
Rostrevor Old Collegians v Hope Valley - Bit of a nothing game, but ROCs for me.
Modbury v Payneham - Too many big names for Modbury to stand much of a chance.
Pooraka v Prince Alfred Old Collegians - Game of the round. Look for Lord Rocco to take down the left armer.
Reynella v Flinders University - Gabb and his team of lefties should progress easily.
Woodville Rechabites v Fulham - Very soft draw for Woody Rech, should win easy.

4/8, poor effort. As for game of the round? What a whitewash! At least I was right that Rocco went to town.

Very disappointed in Brahma, only hit a couple of boundries off the bat (few wides and byes). Hurt losing Sibbick in the warm ups. One fielder was worth the admission fee, dropping two catches in consecutive balls then misfielding the next delivery for four.

5/8 for me, no one could pick the grange game surely...
Would have made a late change to Heccies if I knew that sibbick was out.

Does anyone at Brahma have a win loss record in the A grade for when he doesn't play? Last year they lost to gepps cross of all teams without him in there I think. Would be interesting to see.

Next round will be on Australia day..

Payneham vs Pooraka
Heccies vs old scotch
Hope valley vs Woody south
Reynella vs Woody Recs

All 4 away teams for me.

And you also love being underachievers since your first couple of seasons in ATCA.

Haha, thats a hilarious and uneducated comment DTH.

Other than 10/11, we've won a flag every year since we've been in ATCA.

Granted we had a poor year last year in A2, some our fault, injuries, poor form and a few wash outs when other teams got away.
However we played in the 20/20 GF at Adelaide oval. Our 2nd XI finished runners up, and our LOD's won the flag.
Considering we dont pay players i think we go alright. Have a look at the premiership tables for this year.
As for under achievers, what no mirrors at Brighton? ;) Your last flag?

Thanks for your concerns TP. New coach, younger list, great assistants. We'll be OK. You guys needed to bring back Doughty to lure some of the old blokes back to the Winey's. But where will that leave you in 2014 to 2016? Are Reynella taking 1 step forward followed by 2 steps backwards whereas Brighton maybe taking 1 step backward followed by 2 steps forward.

No one cares!! Both of your clubs are rubbish!! In fact, the whole Southern Football League is rubbish!!
There once was a bloke named Fracka,
Scored runs since he was a young tacka,
But alas not anymore,
his shot selection's been poor,
and now they call him QUACKA!!

Are POOraka happy with the money they have forked out for Neve?? I wouldn't have thought so. He has had a very poor season so far.
