There's way too much focus on the umpires during our seasons, like children umpires should be seen and not heard.

Only the people abusing the umpires focus on them.

Thinking more about in our papers and the footy budget, the umps try to make out that they are bigger than the game. Just want them to umpire the game without the continual bleating of "what about me".

Reasonable player at Independent level. Not overly consistent. Likes to play hard.
However, I haven't seen him for a few years.

I don't know if the Loxton recruits from Gaza have been mentioned yet?

Copping, who I think played afl with someone??
Williams, a member of the fos Williams family.
Butler, son of Shane butler (apparently a gun from south Adelaide)

Combine this with the gun ruckman Nichols, it could be a good year for the Loxton boys. Crack out the champagne now is my prediction.

It's Bryce Williams and Tom Butler. Both hard running midfielders. Bryce played some ressies at West and Tom some at South. They will be good players but I wouldn't call them gun recruits. If you are on Tom be prepared to run!

If this is Ryan we are talking about then don't get hopes up about rucking. Likes ball kicked to him and can take a grab. A bit precious though and has a lot of little 'problems'
If it is Wade which I highly doubt, then yes he is a good ruckman. Just a bit old now but definitely still smart.
And if it is Chad which I doubt as well, he is just a big brut of a man. Similar to The Grest Khali

Benet Copping to Loxton - has played at enough clubs in past 5 years for someone to finally work out that he isn't as good as his reputation - maybe Loxton will by end of season 2013, the group of players heading to Loxton are running types who need the ball in space so I hope Loxton have a few ball getters. Copping isn't one of those.
