Keep up the good work looking after the troops. The enemies are the ones you'll be fronting in the next few days. The demographics are against you but keep the easterners honest.

Cheers buddy.

Morning forum junkys nice overcast morning in Melbourne playing NSW on the main oval using the new deck which looks ok.

Team changes today are Baldo out of the 11 to 13th Gully comes to 11 and Spry listed as 12 so will bowl and not bat with Ash Mac again listed not to bowl.

Coin toss is 30 mins away

I guess that's not really directed at you it's just the team has copped a lot of negitivity and I thought that was more sorry Biggsy if that was a genuine question I take that back.

NSW tomorrow big test for us as they had a win today therfore they're also 1 and 1 so we just have to keep winning....

Apology accepted!!

I know you can only take the best from who puts there hand up!! Is Harris the kid from Seaton who keeps?

Half way mark SA 9/214

Harris (21) and Hoddo (59) got us off to a very steady start off what must be said was some very good bowling early (0/39 off 20) Smithy (15) looked ok early again before Ash (59 out last ball) again played a great innings as did Borgy with 21 and some clean hitting late by Mistroni (27) got us to 214.

Same old story tho only half a job done must finish off this being said if you offered me 9/214 at the start of our dig I'd take it every day of the week.

Very tough loss to swallow NSW getting the runs about 6 down with 4 balls to spare.

DROPPED CATCHS LOSE MATCHES (4 I think)

Especially when he goes on for the second carnival Ina row to hit a ton.

Holland 1/34 off 9 last over killed me.
Gully 1/46 off 11
Atkins 3/52 off 14 great spell
McLeod 0/23 off 5
Mistroni (yep Mistroni) 0/18 off 3
Spry 0/35 off 8 very good last 5 overs (they went for only 16)

That is all.

I don't believe this one little bit,

Cougar would never buy anyone a beer!

To Dutchy and the boys good work, you didn't get the result you wanted today but i am sure that any team with Dutchy as Captain would of played with a lot of pride and passion and tried there best to make all of us keyboard warriors proud.
Not one of the blokes in the squad would of wanted to let us down and i say well done. Play the last couple of games with pride and passion and then come back and fight out the rest of the season.
I look forward to the rest of the season with a new hunger for the game and i hope Rose Park can stay in the hunt for the flag.

Well done guys, Hendo.

Hearing ya Hoddo although I'm happy to be in bed by 2 there's been many a night that's gone longer than that!

Here's hoping we show are true potential and come home 3-2. With All due respect to the last 2 carnival sides for us to be 1-2 after 3 days like we have the last 6 years just does t seem fair as I believe this is are best carnival side I've seen. . The reward for effort comes to mind we've worked are arses off to be in the position we are and to lose a game by 10 runs then a game in the last over just doesn't seem fair to this playing group and seriously doesn't give a true read of where were at as a group.

But at the end of the day the ladder tells the truth so here's hoping we come home 3-2.
