Interesting "possible" move by the SANFL take the northern hills clubs from the Norwood's recruiting zone and give to Sturt. I wonder if they take into account history, relationships etc. or is it purely a numbers thing??

Noticed gumeracha had what looked like a reasonable amount of players out wednesday night for training when I was driving through. Have any other clubs had any trainings yet?

Looks like The 2013 Draw is up online to view :

http://www.sportingpulse.com/comp_info. ... &a=FIXTURE

With Meadows having the Bye First up.

Have heard some rumors Echunga Have lost a few... around 6 or 7 from last years Senior Playing group. So they may need those two to make up for these.

just had a quick look at the draw. i noticed that meadows play the team coming off the bye every week. im undecided if it is a good or bad thing to have. you could say the team has time to freshen up but it could also take them 5 or 10 mins to get back into it after the bye.
what does every one else think? should this be changed?

Not sure the pub will be one of the club sponsors next season, they've shut the doors and flown the coop! I also hear one of their guns is not a real favourite with the local lads either, word has it he's a bit different.

Sedan Cambrai FNC wishes to advise that due to a change in personal circumstances, Senior Football Coach Colin Schwartz will be unavailable for the next eight weeks. While likely to be able to return after this period, Colin understands that his inability to fulfill the role during this period leaves the Club at a disadvantage. As such, the Club wishes to seek expressions of interest for the role. Recruiting is underway, but scope remains for a potential applicant to contribute. Please direct inquiries to the President Chris Tuckwell on 0487 898 189. Expressions of interest from suitably accredited candidates should be sent to sedancambraifc@sanflcfl.com.au by 9th January 2013.

Word has it Birdwood are slashing their spending money after doing $70K last year for no return. With McGahey and Krieg gone, a lot of that budget has gone but don't expect the Roosters to spend ridiculous amount on overpaid footballers for a while. They might actually spend like any normal Country Div club in 2013

Wasn't anywhere near $70k but nice try!
I think you'll find the points system has more to do with the way Birdwood are recruiting this season.
