33 overs left for the day

Big chance for Warner if he survives to score a test ton in a session

Would have loved Warner to go with it but he has set us up beautifully.
Maybe we should bring the boundaries in like everywhere else, that was a 6 on any other ground in world cricket ;)

Prasanna Jayawardene has suffered a hair-line fracture on the thumb. Big blow for the Lankans

And it would still be the biggest square wicket boundary in the world by a mile.

Would finish him for the series id imagine.
Do the Lankans have a spare keeper on tour or do they stick with Kumar and bring another batter in?

Whilst its not great id be happy with him making that most weeks.
Think he has matured greatly and he is still learning.
The big ones are just around the corner, cant wait to see him on the postage stamp grounds in India and England

I agree, just pointing out that we may see a different attitude towards Warner due to his appeal to the public.

If anything though Warner has thrown his innings away alot worse than Watson was, yet Watson was always under the pump

Wow ridiculous running, Hughes unlucky imho

Was Cowans call but boy I don't think there was ever a run there, especially without the midfield.

We got no hope in India or the Ashes gifting wickets like that!

And Watson is still under the pump ;) if he has a failure here it will be back on full time one would think.

Dunno perhaps slot him back into an opening spot, is where he has scored all his runs revamp the lineup and Warner at 6 and use Warner in a Gilchrist mould in tests.

See Hughes now out, a 2nd failure in a row after a good start in his first dig back

Alright I'll be really harsh, that was extremely selfish from Cowan, just because he was getting tied down doesn't mean you can hit straight to a fielder and go just to get yourself off strike.

That shit will make u very unpopular in the changerooms.

Very disappointed in Cowan
