Bird looks good, Jonno did the job and should get his 200th this test, Sidds is getting closer to a spot in the world XI and Watson isn't Captainlots of positives forum fans

We used to get the Saffers here once every 3-4 years so no big loss.
We get the Poms next year and then a West Indies side on the rise after that so far from sub standard.
Why would Australia ever give up a test that is guaranteeed to draw a minimum of 120k?

so australia shouldnt host test matches in hobart.
but really if south africa choose to stay at home during their summer - just as australia does and who both play in front of average crowds, i really dont see the issue.
and south africa later today are playing the kiwis in a 20-20 which unfortunately for traditional cricket fans is the way of the future

Agreed on England i think that will be a great series i'm going to all 5 days here and the first 3 in melb. been planning this for a while cant wait.
Although i disagree on West Indies that will be very one sided.
I believe that SA are a big loss just look at the series just gone.

Hobart only gets a gig when there are 6 tests and they will never get to host a big game.
The Poms tour next summer and the Windies after that. Both are 5 test series I believe so Hobart wont get a test in the next 2 years
