Faaaarkem off out of the comp and have 6 teams.

Reigning World Champions, they are having a bad season.
Thunder though are a joke, their squad isnt flash but it doesnt help that they are stuck out a shithole stadium in a predominately diverse ethnic region miles out of the City.
The West Sydney Wanderers drew a far bigger crowd for their A-League game Friday night.
The Sixers have the massive advantage of playing at the SCG in the middle of the City so will always draw a better crowd

In a blow for Cricket Australia and broadcaster Fox Sports, ratings comparisons obtained by Fairfax Media reveal that interest in the city-based domestic league has fallen significantly while plummeting attendances also point towards second-year syndrome.

I have little interest in the BBL. What was the crowd figure last night? Was a shocking look on telly. Have been some TERRIBLE games lately. 8 teams is tooo many. There's not enough talent around for 8 teams. Too many 'No Name players' going around for the average follower to be interested.

19000 attended the Hobart Test match , Australia v Sri Lanka in 5 days
11000 attended the BBL match Hobart v Sydney Thunder in 3 hours

An International match with the best players drew TERRIBLE crowds
A BBL game featuring domestic players, the struggling Hobart were pitted against the TERRIBLE Sydney Blunders drew a GOOD crowd

Off course the BBL crowds were going to drop after the novelty first year
Crowds are dropping off in many sports
Football, Cricket, Horse Racing
Its a fact of life, home entertainment is keeping people away from Sporting events
That the BBL has been able to attract crowds is a great result for the ACB

I Cricket Aus will be pretty happy averaging 5k to a 3 hour event instead off 500 to a 6-8 hour day like the ryobi cup

Some chatter about the validity of some BBL bowlers

MALINGA
MALinga delivering the ball almost vertical , is it controvening the laws of cricket ?

SAMUELS
Boof Lehmann has made comment about Marlon Samuels action , this is apparently going further

LEE
Brett Lee was copping it last night from sections in the crowd , who were calling no ball as he delivered
I saw a ball binga bowled last night, front on, on TV , and it looked slightly sus ,but I reckon he has no probs

OTHERS
Murali, Botha have both been called in the past for illegal deliveries
Tait has an unusual action , but no problems

Maybe it'll be a good thing if it goes further because Samuels action can look very suspect.

Did Boof really need to come out in public and voice his concerns, I'm sure if he is that upset about the action a quiet word to Cricket Australia would have done just as much.

While batsmen can swap between batting right handed or left handed mid ball being bowling not to fussed about a bowler who is a degree or two outside the rules

Awesome atmosphere at the game last night.

Nothing better than Taity signalling to the scoreboard to drink up after his last over and then the whole crowd giving it to Dan Smith when he was chasing down a ball.

even start in the Hob v SS game, Sydney are 2/59 from 6.7

Sydney off to a flier with Haddin and Lumb, two quick wickets to Hobart now though

Sydney Sixers not doing enough here, 3/112 from 15.3 on a pitch where 180 is what they need to be competitive

Yeah looked great.

Hobart made it closer than it should have been but as soon as i saw Moses bowling the last over i knew they would get home. Blizzard batted pretty well too.
