IMO the only one out of those 4 that have a chance to get back into the AFL is Tuck

Again had he not have had his "issues", he would have played a lot more games and still be on an AFL list.

Tuck even at his best is not that good. A dime a dozen player at SANFL level.

Sam Milne, a 19 year old Midfielder from Albury in the Riverina Football League in Country Victoria

Jackson Potter, a 19 year old Rover who was scholarship listed with the Sydney Swans in 2012

Tim Meulindyks, an 18 year old Midfielder from Hamilton Imperials in the Western Border Football League

Dylan Hewett, a 21 year old Centre Half Back/Centre Half Forward from Broughton Mundoora Football Club in the Northern Areas Football Association

and Jack Osborn, as mentioned in a recent article, picked up by Centrals in the AFL/SANFL Mini-Draft. Osborn is 205cms tall, a former junior Tasmanian Footballer and US Basketballer. Jack will play with CDFC while aligned to the Adelaide Crows as a member of their Rookie List.

strange, recruit these rovers & midfielders, yet we tell Tim Boyd that he probably won't get a league game & encourage him to leave.

Boyd was an import unlikely to play league, can't afford to clog up the list with that.

Didn't Boyd come from South with his brother? Why would he be classified as an import?

Laird did say after the finals exit that we needed to change our game style and we would be looking for a differemt style midfielder to what we currently have.

On paper the names don't sound like much but either did Hopwood and Scoullar from NSW, McKenzie from Kapunda or two twins who couldn't get a game for St Kilda.

Here's to hoping there's a couple of diamonds in that lot!

The strange part is us announcing anything before the new year

interesting that apparently the principal reason James Boyd gave for leaving South was because his brother was delisted!!!!!!
