Still can't get over how disgusting cosgrove looked last night. Looked like he shoved a late pillow under his top.

Yep his the only disgusting person getting around on t.v

Ffs his a cricketer not a male model and funnily enough his probably get better stamina than half the keyboard warriors who bag him, he would walk straight back into the redbacks side!

He wouldn't walk back into our side. We wouldn't have that as part of our image. All well and good to be overweight, it's the fact that he has thrown away a pretty good shot at playing for Australia because he won't put his body through the same rigours as the other athletes.

Merry Christmas

As for keyboard warrior, I would bag him In person. Nothing wrong with bagging opposition players, it's all part of the fun.

Yeah instead we have a Ferguson who has struggled for 4 years until now, but at least he has looked pretty

Blizzard was junk but hey he could get the women so lets have him!!

The Dudbacks have much bigger image issues than one over weight cricketer who is one of the best shield bats in the country.

Richardson should make his debut for the australian t20 side this summer. Only 21, has the skill and speed to be a good player in all three forms at the top level in the next 5 years

That makes him even more valuable to a Shield team as he is available every game of the season instead of only a couple times a year if he was playing for Australia.

Its 2012 not the 1980's ... the boy needs to get fit to be taken seriously.

Seems he couldn't be faarked doing that and yes, he has talent, but that doesn't make up for his appalling lack of fitness.

The Redbacks did the right thing for the long term by not pandering to his lack of discipline.

That said, good luck to the fat prick.

So u know his unfit! Funnily enough when he was at the Redbacks he wasn't the slowest over a pitch length and wasn't the worse at the beep tests.

I rate Cossie, and im a big fan. Not sure if he is fit or unfit, but the other night he did a slide on the boundary and his head was at least a foot off the ground!!

I feel like this is the Massie vs Mickan debate with you guys in another universe

I think people have an inherent nature to either
a) back those with some runs on the board but have some obvious flaws and haven't quite reached the ultimate success
or
b) ruthlessly cut anyone who isn't performing quite at some predefined high level, and try others without as proven a record (grass is always greener on the other side approach)

I love how people say the spudbacks did the best thing by getting rid of him.

Ummm. Tasmania not only won the shield but won it with him being a star in the side.

He clearly was the least of the spudbacks problems, another case of the spudbacks management covering their own arses by making other people scapegoats
