= Common sense

Hopefully we got rid of that goose just in time to save our competition!

Details will be interesting. If position 3 beats position 2 in the qualifying final, then they meet again in the prelim, who is the home team? Pos 3 I would hope?

Sure does. You won't get teams resting players when their is a home ground advantage on the line unless they have a terrible home record.

I'm having second thoughts now......

Obviously Sturt, should they ever make finals again would not qualify as they do not have an oval. Besides the local residents would complain.

just another reason to leave Unley Oval.

The end of double headers again is a bit sad!

Also will the ABC be willing to cover both games

Hold them all at Alberton. We need the revenue and the BBQ is very reasonably priced. ;) :D

SIgh, not this again ... haven't won a flag for 26 years and have the 2nd highest attendances. Central have won 9 in 13 years and have shit attendances.

What was the question again? 8)

PS. when are you going back to work so you don't have so much time on your hands to post crap all day long? :-)

You have more people go to games during the year, but they win the premierships?

Yep, you're in front all right.

so, let's go by last season. Norwood finished minor premier by a street, why make it harder to try to win the Grand Final by having to play them at Norwood? Should be at Woodville, Richmond, Prospect or Alberton. Unley too small, Glenelg too small, Norwood too small, Noarlunga & Elizabeth too far.
BUT, in my opinion, they should ALL be played at Adelaide Oval, we're spending all this bloody money, let's utilize the place!

Why would any of the Ovals be too small suddenly to play finals on, but fine to play at for the majority of the season?

I agree that when Adelaide Oval is ready for use, that's where they should be played .. Will be interesting to see how well this years finals series is attended though, and what the atmosphere is like etc.
