If as we sorta think will happen, the local AFL clubs field their own reserves in 2014, that's about 14 decent players Sturt will lose in one hit .. Granted not all play at the same time but I'd imagine last year they regularly had 4-6 most weekends.
I guess that's offset a bit by the numbers their opponents would also lose, but for a club trying to recover, that's a fair hit.

Well said said Jim05 agree 100% about time the Souths of this world got themself off the floor and not wait for others to do it for them.
Just watch how Eagles and Centrals react to last year's poor season. You can bet your arse they won't be waiting around for someone to help them !!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't mean much. Port only have 39 on their list. So they can upgrade a player as early as round 1 without a LTI

North probably don't rely on it as much, but there was a time (and I would imagine it's still the case) where the transfer fee's we pick up for drafted players was pretty important to us, which is the reward.
I don't want my club to rely on Mini-Draft players, would much prefer to see us replace drafted players with ex-Norwood boys falling out of the system, quality recruits, our kids coming through our system we believe are good enough to survive at SANFL league level.

Mitchell appears to be exactly what the Eagles need.
Read my previous comment? He can be upgraded at any time from
Now on as port don't have the full list of forty
