old news norm, sounds like your trying to deflect any heat away from your ordinary performance and heap it onto us , supers departure nearly 3 weeks ago was very very dissapointing to us, we would have prefered he stayed, but it was soley his decision and wasnt completely cricket related. It definately wasnt kept quiet (as if you could anyway), lots of people knew, obviously just not you, the telegrams must take a while to filter through to mallalla.... ive heard some goss as well........ i heard your very open mouth may have caused some rumblings of violence at your game .... just heard that on the grapevine... wouldnt think there would be much to say after 104.

Not going to hide from today. We batted ordinary but bowled ok. Sals west very beatable. Took a bit out of the game today. Good bowling from johnny mac again .

Every side is beatable...anybody can get anybody out.... But I love the fact that response comes after getting knocked over for 100 and losing in 14 overs.

Sorry Norm, I should clarify I was referring to calling the opposition "very beatable" after such a performance.

It is such an asinine statement after that result.

Whilst as coach its your job to stay positive, there are times when things can be left alone and put down to a bad day at the office. As I said earlier, any side is beatable, I just question the timing of getting on the front foot like that.

I heard froffies only got out to give a young kid his first senior wicket, and that he kept up until drinks and they wanted to win so they chucked him the ball and took a match winning 5fa. How/why he isn't playing higher grades is beyond me.

I got out 1. Because I was bored and 2. I wanted to check the nba scores. How's this, the old boy and I walk across the road to the snack bat at the tea break at 3.40pm EDT. "Hey pal, you got any hot food?" To which the geriatric shop keeper replies "nah, we're sold out at this time of the day"... You kidding me? It's 3:40 on a Saturday and you didn't load the vili's pies up in the pie warmer.

it may sound crazy but the boys did take a bit out of that game. No denying the fact that we got rolled with the bat, we lost 5/3 i think and things counldnt have gone any worse, a few things didnt go our way, one of our guys were caught in the slips off his foot and another caught behind when hitting the ground but that happens. We started well in the field, a wicket first ball of the innings and the 2nd ball was crazy plumb but not given. OTH ripped through the top order of s.west with the exception of DJ slapping 47, it was complete filth but thats the way he bats and luck was on his side. It may have looked like a thrashing on paper but there were certainly times where the s.west boys were starting to worry.

J.Mac and Davies doing the business with the ball as usual. no excuses from our boys, we know what we need to do to win. Still a very confident bunch up at the hill.

Speaking of quality, let's just get back on me again, let's put into perspective my amazing ability to turn up week in and week out and just continue to perform at the highest level.. Through my ultimate professionalism, supreme fitness levels and unrivalled deadly skills, i'm able to bring others into the game and bring the best out of them.

Daniel Jenner is an average cricketer who has been blessed to bowl in partnership with me, and has reaped the rewards collecting buckets of wickets merely because i am unplayable!

Tell you what seen, an amazing piece of Wicket Keeping on the weekend as well.

Noel Greig was keeping and Leon Kent was on fire bowling with some serious heat and the ball was dancing around all over the place.

Pogas came out to face his first ball against the rampaging Kent, and the ball began swinging in before cutting away. Tracking the ball and the shot that Jonation tried to play, Greig moved swiftly towards 1st slip before the ball straightened a fraction and took a think inside edge, forcing Greig to quickly stop, pivot and throw himself full stretch back towards the leg side, snatching an extraodinary catch with one hand barely centremetres off the ground!

That catch removed the dangerous Pogas and put the breaks on the AV run chase, effectively paving the way to our comfortable victory.

It's efforts like that, that it's easy to see why N. Greig is arguably one of if not the best keepers in Grade 1 at the moment!

On the flip side of the coin, Matthew Feltus is WITH OUT DOUBT the WORST fielder to take the field in Grade 1 this season!

Fields like he has a rod stuck to his back preventing him from bending over, and throws like his arm is stuck to the side of his body!!
