Something I never thought I'd see again! An umpire calls a no ball and we didn't have to wait after the wicket to see if it was out or not!

Over 48.4: Welagedara to Hughes, no ball, APPEAL, short, wide, cuts, nicks to the 'keeper but it's a big no-ball. Lucky, lucky for Hughes

I dont see that as lucky for Hughes, if it had not been so far over the line he may have smashed it for 4 with that little bit of extra time

Hughes caught behind off a no-ball! Lucky break.

He survives and Bill starts going on about that could be the moment of Hughes career and if he goes on to make a big hundred it could cement his place in the Australian side for the next decade if he's good enough. Gee, he's just getting a little ahead of himself. Calm down.

Yeah I'm really worried this series against an average opponent is going to hide alot of our problems and fail to sort out any of our batting order issues.

Yes I'm a little worried about that too but he's looking good at the moment, and I'm enjoying watching him bat like this. Just needs to take it one innings at a time, unlike Bill LOL.

Being a small left handed opener myself his one of my favs.

Being dropped 3 times and to keep getting selected on sheer weight of runs earns alot of credit in my books

He's made 6869 first class runs from 87 matches is still only 24, a very decent record and he's got so much cricket left in him, at least ten years worth. It feels like he's been around for ages after being dropped from the test side three times already.
