A predictable response to a batsman playing a productive shot and being dismissed
Cowan played that shot very well against South Africa , and no complaints

What do you want batsman to do, give up all shots and block there way to 50 runs in a days play ?

Come on Mal we went down this track with Haddin and many others.

You tell me that wasn't a bad shot or more to the point it was very badly executed. Cowan very rarely plays shots like that so early in innings especially on wickets like this. It was a poor decision and very poorly executed.

It was a terrible , dreadful embarrasing shot, but one of poor execution
BUT not a shot to put in the closet

Remember Michael Clarke getting out to those offside swishes outside off stump not so long ago, and the critics got into him
But I defended him , because he scores many runs with those forcing back foot offside shots, look at him now

all i said was it was a terrible innings from Cowan, which it was. Not hanging him for it. It's a pitch you need to take your time and get your eye in, he didn't do that

If he can bat at five he can work at four and it would help the team greatly.

Would rather have the side 2/130, than 3/50 each time.

I think it's all in his head, I get your point though, I just don't want to see the only sure thing we've had recently turn to shit.

It has to be in his head but as the teams captain and best bat in the country I think he needs to do what's best for the side.

Remembering he got to ease his way into the test side batting at six and five with the greats like Ponting and Mark Waugh taking responsibility at the top, he should be giving other blokes the same oppurtunities.

Warner has thrown away 100+ because of stupidity and not enough caution. Even more f%#*@n annoying is that it was in the last over before lunch!
