I wouldn't be surprised if Power supporters cheered him, for all the anguish he has caused their rivals (and joy for them during that time).

Might not play in that game either. Unless Sydney can find a loop hole to get Tippett some match practice.

Can he play reserves footy during the suspension? I wouldve thought he'd be lacking match fitness if he couldnt and would probably have to play 3-4 games in the ressies to get up to scratch. Especially if he's playing in the ruck a fair bit.

Quite the opposite young man. I had quite a heated confrontation with some "booers" who got into Shaun Burgoyne when he first returned to Footy Park.

Yeah I think it's pathetic. Sometimes a player leaves for more reasons than money. People forget that.

People are quick to forget how much they loved and adored a player, how much that player gave their club etc.. Professional sport is a career, its their life, people should appreciate that - booing them is childish and stupid..

... except Tippett, he deserves to be booed in every stadium around the country

Why is a footballer choosing a club because of money so frowned upon.

Nearly every person makes choices daily purely based on financial reasons.

I changed jobs for slightly less money, but has better opportunities and 100% less dickheads.

the person themselves do make those choices regularly..doesn't mean the fans, or shareholders/other staff of an organisation, will like it

I agree, money is the main factor in most decisions made in chosing a employer. I think we are all still clinging to the hope that football is not a business and its still a game at the highest level. What has happened with Tippett will be more the norm in years to come.

**** that shit. If you don't like a player boo his arse. Paying your entry fee doesn't entitle you to throw coins or get in a player's face like I saw one idiot do at Cat Park one time but cripes you should be able to let him know what you think of him.

Harden up Giant or has the Tippett cancer started to get to you already? ;)

Have no problems with players copping a good sledging. Booing just seems too come from the less intelligent.
