My youngest boy (8 years old)has always struggled to find a sport that he likes playing, but he was asked to play basketball for the school with some mates and he loves it.

So we are going to watch the 36ers this Sunday and it will be the first time any of us had been to a game... I can't wait and the youngest is super excited and hasn't been able to get to sleep properly all week...

Good to hear, Jase.

In other news the bid from the consortium for a 2nd Melbourne team has been rejected by BA:

Good to hear Jase, my boys took up basketball this year too and they would play 7 days a week if they could. They play two times a week now. The Dome has a great atmosphere when the crowd gets involved.

A real shame about the loss in OT, too much Kevin Lisch down the stretch.

Very dissaapointing to blow an 11 point lead late and even a 7 point lead in the closing 2 minutes. Marty Clarke bringing in Big Pero during OT after giving him a whopping 30 seconds regular game time. Crosswell played the worst game of BBall i have ever seen. I teach 8 year olds basketball and even they get the ball in eventually. Combining his free throws and FG attempts he must have been 0 from 10 and most of them were easy open shots as Perth knew he was colder than a Seals nutsack.

Well done to big DJ who had a shocker last time i went and again started slow but until fouled out of the game was very good for us draining 23. Also Gibson gives us plenty of spark. I was a little bemused to understand how a man nearly 8 foot tall can have such little impact. Surely Schensher should be able to give us more :?

I believe the term to be used and the trend from the 4 games i have been too in the last year is "Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory"

Schenscher got in foul trouble and although I don't think he has been used well by Clarke this season at all he has also been playing poorly.

Third time this season the Sixers have lost a game when they had a double figure lead at 3 Qtr time.

WTF, the 36ers CEO just announced her resignation about an hour ago!

The Adelaide 36ers today announced the resignation of Chief Executive Officer, Leeanne Grantham, which will take effect from February 13, 2013.

Grantham, who is in her second season leading the Club said that as a passionate basketball fan, it was a decision that tugged at her heart strings.
