sorry that was a bad day in rockinghamin 2004

Interesting. So Mighty Paper Tiger thinks that there are no successful AFL teams I guess because since the AFL was formed, no club has won more than 3 flags. But Port have had more premiership success in the AFL than
St Kilda
Richmond
Melbourne
Bulldogs
Freo
GWS
Gold Coast

And the same amount (1)as Carlton.

So no wonder everyone is so focussed on Port's lack of success.

well the AFL is just an extended VFL that all you other clubs chose to join

Good question.

FACT is He wouldnt have a clue.

No one is more of an expert on that than you UK.

Seriously your incessant Port stalking is pathetic!

If Port Adelaide say the sky is Blue, you say it's not.

If Port Adelaide say the grass is green you say it's not.

If Port Adelaide say 13 other clubs benefited from the AFL equalization Fund, you say no they didn't.

Wow, I wish Geelong had done as much as Port to turn themselves around when we were millions of dollars in debt and hadn't won a flag in decades.
KT admitting defeat there as if they've done the most of any club in Australia to turn things around and are still clocking up millions of dollars of losses then there is absolutely no point in continuing as things can only get worse.
What an awful and pathetic culture they have down there, one of blame, incompetence and neglect. No hint of courage, determination or intelligence.

We'd be making million dollar profits if we had Geelongs stadium deal, but when we have the same crowds as you get to Kardinia Park we make huge losses, whereas you make a hefty profit. (and no, before some of you trolls comment, no I'm not just "blaming the SANFL for everything", as a lot of you like to just randomly comment on when you have nothing else to say

Keith Thomas is impressive and seems to be genuine and doing a good job against massive odds against him but Kochie??? Seriously you think he is good for your club, FFS he can't even get the correct (current) name of the club right? Good luck, he and your club deserve each other!

I just laughed and shook my head when Kochie used the word "traitor" to describe others when being interviewed on 5aa this week.

Close, they'd probably say something is teal and I'd point out that is in fact turquoise. ;)

Wedgie has a point though the concept of "teal" does vary.
Most of us link the word with ducks and the Common Teal Duck displays the greener colour that means "teal" to me.

No we care for footy in this state, and while most of us hate everything Port we also know that the drain on SA Footy cannot continue from Alberton however while other clubs put words into actions all we seem to hear from Alberton is blaming others.

Blaming others for poor performances and failure in SA isn't unique to just Port Adelaide IMO.

It's not a blame game. It's obviously a very complex set of circumstances that have seen us arrive where we are. Many of them within our control, no doubt about it and not something that any of us on here who have no real influence on the clubs actions or by those in charge at Alberton have shyed away from and some are not. Is that so hard to understand?
