Massive day at Mofflin today 19 wickets fell for a grand total of 249
CU all out 126 defeated Rosies 9 fa 123.
Big Leon Kent nearly stole the show, needing 18 off three balls smashed two big sixes off the first two and nearly nailed the third but fell short.
Big shout out to Adam Ellis 3 dropped catches in 4 overs to keep the game interesting, pretty sure he's gonna put in a clearance to Rosies tonight???

T20 games today st Payneham oval..

Come down and watch Craigmore take on Payneham from 930am.
Then Rosies take on Goodwood at 1230PM.
The 2 winners then play off at 330PM.

Its a tough ask for both PDCA sides as they take on ATCA A1 sides but you got to be in to win it.

Good luck to Craigmore, have been in good form with the bat recent weeks, hopefully they can take that form into todays game.

Interesting looking ladder after this round, OTH & CU have managed to create a buffer over R&C and Craigmore, with the Craigmore moving to within a whisker of Rosies after their massive win, then its a large gap to the rest.

Units now have ATCO & Craigmore in the 1 dayers coming up, whilst OTH will battle Craigmore & Westies, I believe CU will find themselves sitting clear in 2nd place at the halfway point, and i believe we may well see a buffer form between 3rd and 4th if R&C can secure wins against Virgina & Angle Vale.

Having said that, R&C have struggled to perform consistently all season, and with the batting line up struggling, i would imagine serious considerations need to be made to adjusting the order to maximise it's potential, whilst Craigmore are going from strength to strength with some big scores.

Craigmore I believe made 74 and Payneham chased it 3 or 4 down?
Goodwood made 135, Rosies ended up with 113ish

When I left Payneham had made 150 odd and they had Goodwood 2 for bugger all

I think both clubs performed admirably. Played against two quality opposition sides, and to me the telling factor was the lack of experience and understanding of playing on a turf deck.

Thought Craigmore battled well defending a small total, but didn't give up and made Payneham work a bit for their runs.

For my lads today, Goodwood got off to a flier and raced to around 50 off 5 overs, and we started poorly in the field, but I thought we did an exceptional job to peg them back and end up restricting them to 135.

When we came to bat though, lost Russell 1st ball by a yorker he jammed and it rolled back, then lost Tee Off later in the over, D. Jenner couple overs later was run out, we limped our way to 50 and were around 8/50, so was very happy to see that we fought hard to get our total up to 113. Young Jayden Broadstock I thought batted extremely well in the circumstances to finish 39*.

.. oh well back to the real stuff now!

Whats with the slow scoring rates ?? Usually a high scoring place to play. Was the wicket a bit slow and hard to score on ? Someone playing for red ink ?
