Well “on_a_length” after getting down to your game Saturday, you didn’t come over and introduce yourself? And let’s be honest, unless you are Michael Watson, you had enough time to come and say hi, I even made a second cheese and vegemite sandwich.

It was an appalling game of cricket, as you would expect down in the dungeon of a3, and it hasn’t made me want to turn out to another one in any hurry.

Hope Valley batted first, and where three wickets down for a single run. All three going to a bogan with tattoos all over him, bowling nothing more than left arm throw downs. The team with the biggest wage bill in turf cricket continued to throw wickets away all the way down the order, the only piece of resilience coming from the classy, big fish in a small pond, Michael Watson. I wonder if these guys are on a performance package or an appearance package, because this week would have been either very expensive, or very cheap.

Trying to find positives on this poor performance of your side, in the run chase that followed your bowling attack looked a lot stronger than theirs, but alas, couldn’t quite pull together to grab all 10 wickets. Even though there wasn’t a cricket shot played in reply, just a lot of kitchen sinks being thrown.

When defending a low score I was surprised that the guy called “chuck” didn’t bowl more often at the critical times, although for a guy that presumably throws it, he doesn’t do it very quickly. But accurately none the less, and for me, was underused. No surprise that when the end came, the “team”, walked off separately, are cracks starting to show in this expensive group of individuals.

Player of day, the live woman singing for all of the private school boys than congregated at the cricket, (obviously bringing an MP3 player is below them, have to pay someone to sing live) she was very good and played a long innings.
Dick of the day, again, its pleural this time, to the 3 blokes who got out for 0 within 3 overs of the start, one, the first ball of the day, second a shoulders and arms a straight one, and the third, missing 2 leg side gimmies, and missing the third leg stump half volley to be LBW.

So, “On_a_length” after being thumped within a day, what do you think your game plan will be come next Saturday, yours personally, and the teams?

For anyone that may or may not care, Payneham defeated Goodwood in todays SAMCA T20 clash to progress to the Adelaide oval finals.

Quality place to watch cricket up on the balcony.. shame about having to walk up stairs though! ;)

There hasn’t been a point in my life when I have aspired to male netball player, or play a sport that women play in general.

And secondly speaking of credentials could you list yours?

Fairly sure women play most sports.

Play, or partake? in most sports, its only since they have had the vote that they have started to have a go at men’s sports, but netball is a womens sport.

Well, like my original post back on the forums, I wanted to revitalise this forum, because it was very dull. So following it without my apparent rubbish wouldn’t have yielded much interest or information for you.

I cant see where all of the hostility has suddenly come from.

Revitalise? Surely you Jest :?

This turf thread has gone backwards at a great rate of knots since your dribble has made an appearance on here.

All I want to read is the results of the weekend's games and maybe some controversy on how much Grange pay their players each week and why their B grade doesn't want to play A grade ;)

Not that old chestnut again..
Grange pay what they can afford. Always have and always will.
I would not think there would be too many B graders that really could add a lot of sustained value to their A grade side any way!!!

And I reckon old Hashtag has added some very witty humour to the forum.

What about Goodwood and their alleged treachery of bringing their own beer to share a private moment with a team mate then head inside to purchase more

Nice to see you could get out and have a look at our A grade, disappointing result but you take the good with the bad.

Next saturday my gameplan is to do not much while the batsmen chase down the runs, then maybe go out for a cheap slap in happy hour.

But didnt they tell the secretary of the hosting club that everyone brings their own beers to away games so we will to! Also with no mention about the 'private moment'
