SW captain asked for a 12th man, and although it was granted ( even if storming off sulking was a legitimate reason ) SW still fielded with 10 men the rest of the day... 36 degrees fighting for outright points and hes (apparently) on the sidelines watching his team field a player short... ok that was good of him to still stay and support the lads...

Changing your story now? You're right though, it was a far more interesting tale when he was driving off. Not sure it's timed out unless you stand there waiting for him. Think the appropriate terminology is retired out.

I think you might find that you stated that he didn't leave hence the word apparently.

Maybe the case, still means he's wrong about the jumping in the car and driving off part.

It has come to my attention that the SW incident i made recent comments about is not totally a cricket related matter as i thought, personal issues and players (away from cricket) issues should be respected. Out of respect for my SW friends, i will not make anymore comments on it...

TBH i think young bowlers these days head straight out to a turf comp or a district club once they realise they have some talent. Para districts is a great place to play cricket but your probably not going to go to far or test your self playing here.

I think coin has a fair bit to do with it as well. Turf clubs throw that much money around its unbelievable where as many clubs in para districts cant afford to do that.

PDCA is a great place to start cricket. playing at a senior level as a young dude you learn alot, 1 is how to play a swinging ball and how to play a short ball!
only problem is what was said above you cant go places unfortunately... testing yourself is still there but just in the higher grades.. grade 1 and 2 pdca is better than d grade at district level by a long way
