Six hours playing time vs. 100 mins playing time. Standing 'recovery' (complete with sprints to field balls) vs. Rest. Bowling, more of an unatural body action than running.

I have wondered this, so recently wore my GPS watch out in a 40 over match. Wore it for 40 overs, bowled 8 of these (approx 20m run up) and covered 8km, obviously there is a bit of walking in this number. Him bowling 33 overs you'd think he covered well over 30km.

You would think, it's nearly a marathon if not more, but then again apparently I'm being piss weak.

Michael clarke has conformed that Hilfy and Sids wont play due to fatique. Clarke will make his final descision after a pitch inspection tomorrow morning. Lyon will most defintely play!

No contest.

yep i agree the footballers/soccer players have got Sids covered
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
Agree Killa, will be good to see Hazelwood. But surely they won't play Hastings before Lyon. If Lyon doesn't play, would have thought Cutting is a better option.
Clarke said today Lyon, starc and Johnson are playing and one of Hastings or Hazlewood will debut and one will carry the drinks MJ comes back in and he will lead the attack
And have to say it, Hazlewood with four first class wickets this season has been kissed on the old fella by a fairy. That blue cap really makes it a sure thing.
Forget Putland, Nathan Coulter-Nile (home deck) and Jackson Bird (outstanding) would be spewing.

It's called blooding the new generation. The selector would have list of players they want to blood in coming years. What state they come from is irrelevant. People were saying the same about Cummings when debut against this mob. Expect to play with 4 quicks with watt during limited bowling.

I didnt think i heard clarke say lyon was playing. its one to miss out of lyon, hazlewood and hastings.
With Johnson and Watson being unreliable, it would not surprise me if they debut both quickies incase one gets the jitters. probably doesn't make sense but it does in my mind
