Gary Putland making a late charge to replace James Pattinson with a (so-far) ten wicket match haul.
Phil Hughes has been simmering away and in this match has kicked down the door.
Another gem from Callum Ferguson.
Sayers irrepressible. 2-72 and 3-25 so far. Has 23 wickets before the game started.

South Aus going to smash these Vic bastards and get outright points!

Bowling superbly ATM but would still think he is a fair way down the pecking order for a test cap

Gaz needs to get consistent games on the Park one would think he is our new Mark Cleary, plays 1 good game then misses the next two with injury

No doubt has talent to at least be considered for the next level.

How good is it to see the newbies start to do well for the redbacks now they are given decent opportunities?
Raphael & Head with the bat and Richardson, Putland and Sayers with the ball.
Bring in Davey for Ludeman and we are really heading in the right direction.

Each to their own.

If you are happy with a player who is averaging 24 in first class cricket this year then I can't argue with you.
Bring in a home grown product who is more than capable with the bat and gloves and SA will start to be competitive.

Big day for the Redbacks, must bowl them out quickly. Usually its the last 4 wickets that make all the runs against us.

2 dropped catches already.

Didn't see Head's but apparantley it was a sitter.

Klinger should have taken his as he got to hands to it diving to his left.
