I have an idea regarding the review system.
Let's say a batsman is given not out, but the batsman himself knows he is out ie. he felt the snick as it went past the bat. So, he walks.
In this position could the batting side get a review back? In that situation time would have been saved as the fielding side wouldn't need a review, and the batsman would've been found to be out anyway. So if he knows, give him the chance to walk and then reward the team with an extra review for sportsmanship/saving time.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Why don't we just let the umpire make the decision and just suck it up if he gets it wrong?

FFS ...

Too much at stake, id rather the 3rd umpire review everything.
We have the technology so use it, they just need to review it quicker, can usually tell within a few seconds if its out or not

I agree, I should have stated umpires ... let the 3rd umpire step in if he has to, but they need to quicken it up otherwise its a sideshow.

just leave it to the on-field umps

Its a legitimate dismissal, the ball bounced and could have gone onto the stumps, it was still live

Whilst the ball was still alive there was no way it was going to hit the stumps. Yes, dumb by Faf but I wouldn't like to see an appeal in that situation, regardless of it being technically correct.

Same deal with mankads ...

just takes one player to half ask the question

the umpire will then ask the captain if he wishes the appeal to stand
