It was good to catch up with some old timers at the ground, who told me about Charles Bannermans 165 in the first Test Match in 1877 in Melbourne
Bannerman made 167* you're probaly thinking of Walters who made 165 on debut at Brisbane 88 years after Bannerman

South Africans as much as they appear big, strong and arrogant they are weak as p*** when put under the pump in Cricket and often in other sporting fields.
These blokes rolled over today to let a side put on almost 6 runs an over for a whole day. We sent sides to the sub continent with Blocker Wilson as the front line bowler due to injuries in 96 and we didn't disgrace ourselves anywhere near like these blokes did today. Game won't last 4 days.

U are making that assessment after 1 session u fool. Test Cricket can change just as quickly as shorter forms of the game
yeah i am making that assessment after witnessing Steyn not really offering a lot
Kallis - the wicket-taker is out injured and that will affect his batting
the captaincy now with the bowlers is just raffertys rules - just throw it to a bloke and he will bowl
both clarke and warner are now set, the pitch dries out and it will be a batters paradise
so yes perhaps im a fool but south africa can not win this game

IMO we will declare sooner rather than later. Would not surprise if we declared half hour before lunch
