i remember as a youngster facing waterhouse, the keeper was pretty well on the boundary. His bounce was pretty stupid.
i only faced Glen North in his grade 1 twilight years but was still sharp.
Jones was quick too, funny how such a big fast bowler can be so soft tho. The amount of times that guy took him self off the ground injured when he was getting hit around was laughable.

i remember one game where i straight drove him and he went to stop it and it completely missed his hand, then he went off the ground saying it hurt his hand. Went off for a completely different thing that game as well. The one dayer later in the year he did the same thing. The funny thing was is that the guys in our side said before the game that it would happen haha

Wizard of Oz wrote:Smithy did you play that game up at your ground against Salisbury West when Rocco and Miles bowled about 15 of the sharpest overs in tandem at the end of the day you'll ever see ??
I've never seen so many blokes scurry to put the tracksuit pants on and want to do square leg to not have to pad up.

Milo is another guy that was sharp off the long run back at westies.
Oz was this the game when both Mcnair and Rogers played. I think they both made 2 ducks each on the same day......

We got the outright and those chaps made pairs, bit like the two openers from my 3rd A grade game at 14
Miles was another rhythm bowler...but when it was right, he was rapid.
Reminds me of my 4th game of A grade when I was 14 yrs old
