What is the extent of the injuries to Wilson & Youngy ???? Good mates of mine !
Seems Youngy cant stay healthy at any stage of his footy, very injury prone.

Joel got a very bad corky - like compartment syndrome. Talk is he's going miss 7-8 weeks.
Youngy did a hamstring (as per usual). Reckon he's done it at least 5 times in the last couple of years. Did it in Rd 1 (month ago) so should be back this wk you'd think. Became a dad last weekend to so I'm told.

He certainly did become a member of the fatherhood club, smallish infant, male gender, Flynn Lucas Young.Congrats Nath & Sarah !
Ah the hamstring again, seems Nathan should give the footy up and go watch his missus play netball :D

My tips boys, for what it's worth (Not Much)

Virginia vs Hummocks/Watchman on the longest trip rd trip in APFL - Virginia Hummocks by 50 pts, still have too much class, as undermanned by injury as they are.
United vs Balaklava at the water Tower oval - United - Match of the round, Longies by a whisker!
Hamley Bridge vs Mallala out at Hamley Bridge - Mallala to just sneak over the line by about 10 goals!!

get down to watch one of these matches, have a pie and a beer and enjoy!
Sorry people I only deal in facts!

I'll have a stab and say HWE by 6 goals over Virginia and Mallala by about 8-10 over Hamley Bridge. Think Balak might just get over United by 3-4 goals.

any reports from the weekend?

Virginia were absolutely terrible, 4 scoring shots to 34 in the wet says it all! It was a very undiscipline and dirty game from the rams, so nothing much has changed this year, seems as though thats all theyre out there for.
well i watched the game and not a sight of rough play! maybe u had mud in your eye? from the swamp????????? :maybe time for name change to jack**s

The Rooster wrote:pretty happy that they have spent big bucks to get absolutley fugg all, same old Virginia!! they are a disrgrace to every league that they have ever played in and i am ashamed that they have had anything to do with our club.

The best they got was when Weavs coached them in 2003-2005 at least they had a level that was competetive. they have got a lot of work to do to get any where near the rest of the clubs in the league.
the biggest disappointment was that they have some reasonable players who deserve better.
shame, shame, shame you call yourself a sporting person? no! you are a coward attacking a club in the manner you have,i wonder if you have enough intestanal fortitude to go to the club and have your say?????????? i very much dout it!(fact! some players refused match payments due to their lack luster preformace)this did not happen in weavs days!took the money and run !as for concentrating on juniors ! two well f c juniors have been extrmely successfull in the last ten years or so!SO whats happened to your As ?oh let me guess they have all grown up and all turned into eaglets!

Alright Bloke, i'm a coward? i'm the coward who has said what everyone else is thinking!! I would hope that some of the players refused payments, means they understand the responsibility of being an import in a country football side, it probably didn't happen in Weav's time as they played in finals footy early, but that won't last long if you only train one night a week. and why would i go to that club. for any reason what so ever, let alone to tell them how to do the job that they should be doing, there are succesful clubs everywhere in soputh australia, an i'm not just talking about on field success, they have plenty of examples of how clubs are run and how to interact with the league.

And i'm not sure the point your trying to make about our juniors, proof is in the pudding, average age of Two Wells A-Grade is 21, thasts over half the side are from that batch of juniors coming through. yes there are some at the eagles however and good luck to them, they will be welcomed back with open arms any time they come back, as i'm sure young Musolino from centrals would be at Virginia.

Two Wells, under achievers big time. Two Wells only ever managed to pump up their own Tyre's and you can only hang your hat on promoting kids for so long, and they have been doing that for the last 5 years anyway.

Are you drunk?

Perhaps you should just read what you've written and see if you understand it!

It's true we've had good juniors, and yes that hasn't translated into premiership success, but there have been big changes throuhgout the club in the last 5 years and to get all the derro"s out has been hard , besides i shouldn't have to defend the actions of the coaching staff and commitee.

we'll be alright, looking at a long term plan, not a quick fix!!Nuff said.

Actually its more like the pot calling the kettle black.

You are both as bad as each other. You should forget about what the other guy is doing and worry about your own back yard.

Both of you should grow up.

it's probably better if you don't know what your talking about, then shut the &%#% up. Don't presume to know me or what i've done, my assessments are frank and honest, if you disagree, fine, thats what forums are all about, but brother i have not yet begun to stroke my ego!! have i written anything that wasn't my opinion? was it fact?

if you have a problem with this, "check your own back yard" then come back.

went up and saw longies play saturday, they looked very good. Have to admit balak very ordinary. first 1/2 was a good battle and i thought balak would come back by the end from being 5 goals down. by 10mins in 3rd quarter it was all over longies put on 4 -5 goals. Longies midfield in sobey and half backs in mansfield just ran and ran...shane might have the boys fit this year. che-C Collins was able to draw luke evans from centre half back who was holding balak in it for the first half marking everything, it was a great move and in the end evans had to go with che which ended up taking him out of the game. Che is pretty smart out there dosen't get a lot of it but seems to direct traffic.

watch out for longies they will only get better.

C'mon Faxu, why do you have to resort to insults all the time mate? You've posted five times and I reckon each one's included an insult.

The Rooster's given his opinion - how about debating his points rather than having a crack at him?
