Be nice if my employer started to base my pay rate on how he "assumes" I will perform and not how I actually perform... ;)

Interesting comments given that North couldn't match South's offer to Wundke or the Eagles offer to Ainger. In both cases they saw the official contract and just could not match it. If there were brown paper bags lying around they surely would have matched them.
