Like it. Barossa do it why can't we??

Because they'd have to schedule at least one Sunday game in for the season and club's will oppose it.

I dont think our club would have an issue with it.

We tried to get it off the ground a few years ago and did a heap of work for the proposal for the AGm and it didn't even get past the starting post.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

rayray smith and ian smokey williamson are top notch cricketers from what my eyes have seen but after the weekend its fair to say frankie mcconnell only is a good mile or 1000 ahead of anyone in divy 2 his bowling if freakish and the bloke has the stats with him too just the lazy 20 wickets off 4 bowling gigs hate if you like but FIGJAM states nothing but the truth!!

If u check his stats the last 3 years he would have close to 50 wickets at under 15 per wicket.

Granted its been in div 2 & 3 but geez he can bowl. His one of the hardest I have faced, you just can't get into a rhythm against him and he hits the bat as hard if not harder than anyone else.

I'm forever in his debt, he single handidly won us a premiership on the back of his finals bowling performances

I've faced him before, would definitely prefer to face his stuff than Davies. Not saying he can't or won't do it but until you've done it in the top grade there'll always been doubts. We've seen plenty of people have top records in grade 2 and 3 but get found out in grade 1.

Frankie bowls straight up and down at a gentle pace. Wouldn't trouble batsman in grade 1

U obviously haven't faced him in a few years, his definatly quickened up, not as quick as Davies or Carmen but wouldn't be many others quicker, his developed an inswinger as well since his been opening the bowling, is 6ft and fair bit and hits the bat very hard.

Not saying he would dominate div1 but there is alot worse bowlers getting wickets currently in div1
