Well Well Well.............

What are onka's on?

They had Shee but the midfield got a bath! :toimonster:
The pressure put on by the 13 U21's proved they were scared! :axe:
Wow...... they are not a problem......... and last year I rated them.................(So far only Blackwood.. any team should worry about them)
But now, test the new Shanty!

It is not who we have gained but the belief in each other (locals) that is now evident!!
Look out for anyone in the way!! (I wouldn't mind seeing a dickhead coach try a "HIT" on a "Young Gun" look out..... They will not get out of the carpark alive!!
:axe:

The THUNDER"S are here! :D

Well only my humble opinion (PS. Well done Mop Up a fantastic return to what I believe is Mail Medal Form)......

Thanks Alaska but I'm thinking when you wrote this you were drunk, as i currently am. Little ahead of yourself, lotta cheap possies today for me but great thing is you could have had 12 playes in the best 5 easy. Privilage to play with and watch Muffy today. Awesome! Probably should've won by 10 goals but missed few easy opportunities. Loving the hatrick of wins. Jeasulenko YOU BEAUTY!!

Have fun while your away Ronny Burgandy.... hopefully your time away will open your eyes and lead you on the road home to thunderland

Lofty up by 32 goals i heard? is this true...or is this a concusssed drunk A grade coach talking? if true ... geebus christ. fair way to rebound

Hills Central... Footy at its best!!

Unfortunately I don't reckon they're that far off Milang. They've definitely got the Spoon rapped up, if Callington don't fall in a heap.

Saw Cally play against Nairne last Sat Cougar. I hope they don't fall in a heap as they are a VASTLY improved side this year. Troy Bond played the last 2 games and to be honest, if you weren't aware he'd been an AFL player, you wouldn't have guessed. Obviously well out of form, out of tone, out of pace etc., but was used as a crumber in the backlines very effectively. Gave away a coupla elementary frees in front of goal though. On the whole, I and fellow spectators felt Cally was very well coached and really weren't too far away at all in the first 3 quarters. They have improved by 500% over the last 3 seasons. Fitness seemed above average, stayed with it all day, tackled hard and kept persisting. They will win more games and will notch up a couple of unexpected ones.

Sorry Crumber, but this write up above, didn't match up yesterday. Kersbrook giving Callington a 216pt belting on their home turf. Now either Nairne are weak (which I hear ain't the case) or Callington had 21 out from last week. Bond didn't play (Callington too far) and they had others out, but as did Kersbrook and the Coach decided to watch the game from the sidelines after half time. Callington and Gums will play off for the Spoon, as the wheels look to be falling off at the Eagles Nest.

And Tex I wouldn't write off any side (re: attack on Echunga) apart from Gums and Cally, as the Country Div looks to be an even competition. This is despite some one sided results being held over the past few weeks.

The mighty Devs destroyed the Magpies. Something like 35.20 to 2.6 I think.

Trav White kicked 10 and Racer kicked 9. You know you're going OK when last weeks full back kicks 9!

Supers won by 25 odd and should have been well more after kicking 10 straight points in the 3rd quarter.

First four spots are already filled JS, Echunga,Kangarilla,Meadows& Kersbrook. The last spot will be between Nairne, Torrens Valley & your mob, so far as i've seen you will struggle.

Let me tell you first hand Echunga are no certainty to make the Finals!! I honestly think Callington will take it up to the Demons! Maybe De Ja Vu as last year Echunga started well and then fell in a heap. Dont think Maccy can make the 5 though!!

So far this season: Echunga def Kangarilla, Kangarilla def Meadows, Meadows def Echunga, Echunga def Kersbrook, Kersbrook def TV, TV def Meadows.

The Premier will come from these 5. Callington won't get within 10 goals of the above sides from now on.

Would have to agree with you Cougar, that on Saturday's performance Cally looked VERY ordinary. Defenders caught metres away frequently and the James boys tore the Eagles apart. Overweight and slow players in the Eagles' forward lines. No-one in the square when it did get there. Too easy for the Brookers. It was hard to tell who was missing at Cally; few recognisable from last year and numbers not in the Budget. But I also reckon Nairne are not that weak. Two very telling rounds coming up.

On a different note, did anyone witness the brawl on Cooper's Hill at Norwood Fri night? It erupted right behind me. Would be interested to hear interpretations of event(s). Just scanned SANFL stuff and everyone has different story! Makes great reading. The only consistent thread though, is that night footy between Norwood and Centrals has got to go.
Older, wiser and been there. But still love that grassroots country footy.

Torrens Valley were just far too good on the day! We were missing a few players but that played no part & we were beaten on every line convincingly. Carter was untouchable & Meadows boys looked very flat all day never getting out of 1st gear. Next Saturday can't come fast enough let me tell you!!!!
