Can bat for long periods. Think he went a couple of times without being dismissed all day last season.

Defeatist attitude aside, if he can bat for a long time, it hurts the side in this match, as a slow scoring rate will make it harder on the batsman at the other end, but in the long term, if he can produce a big effort tomorrow, he can lock himself into the openers slot, and Klinger at three makes the side look better in the long term.

Unlucky for Sam. Seems to be able to bat time and get starts. I think he is only one drop catch or lucky LBW away from making a big one and finding his feet.
Time for Klinger to stand up tomorrow.

I watched about 45mins of chadd yesterday and he was bowling really well, not only taking those wickets but continually beating the bat aswell!
Good to see him getting a shot and showing he is capable of playing at this level
