SHOC, Gepps coming down should pose massive threats for the flag. PD should’ve finished top but for a last round loss - could’ve cost them a spot on the GF. Add Portland, FP, Mod, even Walkies to the mix and Kilburn will need to have an exceptional season to stake a claim on the flag, especially with the constant rumours of players leaving. Not saying the Chics won’t be a good side, but they'll have to do a lot to get to the top of the Div 2 tree.

Ha, pretty sure you've mentioned every side but us! Looks like we're a shoe in for Relegation! ;)

I would be interested to know who Yardy Lard's favourite for the flag is. Is it still Port District or has he jumped ship??

You'd want to hope he doesn't put favourtism on Pt Districts as it'll be the end for them in 2013 like it was 2012!

It appears some of the more "fruity" characters within should worry less about which players and coaches are coming and going when trying to predict the seasons Premiers. It appears that without making a study of the Clubs post season Treasurers Report before offering an informed opinion on the outcomes of the upcoming season.... they have know idea......

Just emphasising the hard road ahead for Kilburn, and every team, in their march towards the Div 2 flag next season.

Yardy still on the Districts train thanks. Toot Toot and full steam ahead in 2013. Very unlucky this year, with a terrific side and losing to PAOC in Rd 18 was the only thing that stopped the train moving to D1

Only going to be missing Reid Beeching and Gator and possibly the former coach Rod after chatting the other week at the club, feel will be down at Reynella or up in Darwin. New coach in Mark Tylor, will be great for the lads. Good bloke is Mark and at Freeling last year and terrific contacts with lots of former Port Adelaide juniors after spending many years as the U18 coach at Alberton.

Dont know about big bubbles Johncock, or if he is playing with Williaston or with the magnificent Magpie machine.

Looking good for 2013.

Gepps Cross, Sacred Heart and the mighty Kilburn side all look good though and will be tough challengers. PAOC, Flinders Park and Walkerville the toughest after that and all picking up players daily

Read on the SFL forum that FP have picked up a fit and handy flanker by the name of Jack Rogers - one of the many Brighton players leaving the Bombers. Seems to be a lot of player movements into Div 2 sides, hopefully it makes for a great and close 2013 season

Think you will find that was a private function at another club down the road, where the incident occurred. During the summer, the clubrooms are with the Port Adelaide District Cricket Club and not Portland. A six month arrangement. You will find the cricket club did not use the clubrooms on Baynes Places, on Saturday night anyway, but had their presentations at a sponsors pub down the road.
A terrible thing to happen though and not good for anyone. Shocking.

p.s changed my mind, I think Corey Pressler will captain Kilburn next season, I think he would love nothing more than to be the one to guide them hopefully into Div 1, and i would have short odds on him going back to back medalist... ;)
