I dont understand why angle vale are even in the saafl isnt there a gawler comp?

Angle Vale is still classed as metropolitan, however, with their new facilities I'd be trying to push to go in the APFL if I was them, it would make an 8 team comp, I've been an advocate for them to do it for a few years, it would be a couple of tough years but I bit of sponsorship from the Virgara's and perhaps a couple more local's and they could be something.
Their travel wouldn't be impaired, maybe one road trip per season to Balaklava & Port Wakefield and the rest aren't too far away.

smithfield should join too

They don't have an enclosed fence or netball courts anymore. There's been plenty of pushes to join the BL&GFA over the past two decade's but that window of opportunity has now passed.

Yank in the way of recruiting everyone will have to wait and c as we believe at the club if we add to our list with a few guns we have the window open in the next few years.
With not having a ground and new clubrooms yet it is a hard ask to get players to come out to the owls but we look at the fact we are only 5 years old for senior footy. We are still in Nappies.

I was under the impression that Angle Vale were at their new home ground in 2012. Where were the Owls playing this year then? I remember playing at their old home ground a few years back, why did they change from there? Is it because they were sharing with it with another club? It didn't seem like the worst ground going around, but the club rooms left a bit to be desired I guess.

Yes to the first one. Still not sure on Josh, hope he stays, but I know he'd be keen to play with his mates Lowe and Rowett.

lutz, MP played them at Gawler Campus in Round 2 on the greatest dung hill in the world, and their other home games were at Two Wells. Their new 'MAGNIFICENT' facility was supposed to be ready mid 2012 and they will be prayin' it's now ready. I feel for them actually but when it's a goer it will be the envy of a lot of clubs and will help them become a force in footy.

Ok thanks for clearing that up Yank Man. I had only seen them play at the Two Wells oval. I thought I had read that it was intended to be ready for the 2012 season. Well sounds like it will be worth the wait then.

Tom Burgess is the Senior Coach. Sam Taylor is the Reserves Coach.

I'm making KB play another season so I'm not the oldest in the team :D

Ingle Farm & Houghton down from D6

Two others out to make a 10 team comp but not sure who
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
