I wonder how many dismissals over the journey have been no balls. Since the umpires check, it seems to happen alot

Bowler error no one else to blame but pattinson. I like the idea that any no ball shouldn't be called until the scoring action is complete.

The speeds though that it all happens, I can understand the umpire not being sure. Having to look down, then up again to pick the ball up for an LBW or caught behind decision. I have no issue with the way the umpires are handling them, but the bowlers shouldn't be that close. At that level it surely isn't too hard to bowl with your front foot half behind the line most of the time.

I've been saying for years the front foot no ball should be done electronically. I've no doubt it can be managed with the technology available. Have a beep in the umpire's ear, then he can call it immediately without having to ever look down.

Has anyone thought the extra inch or so over the line and the fraction less reaction time might be the reason there are so many wickets fall on no balls

Shane Warne would've had a ton to his name instead of a HS of 99.

Good point raised by someone on cricinfo, in the past the ump would call them all the time & they would adjust but now they only find out they have bowled a no ball when its checked if there was a wicket. Umpries need to be calling them all the time IMO
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Time for the bowlers to wear Iron boots and have a Magnetic crease .. If they don't stop in a hurry it was a no-ball
