Has a batsman (besides possibly Bradman) ever scored 2 triple centuries in the one calendar year?

Never scored a triple ton. 281 is his highest score.

Doesnt look like its ever been done. Not even Bradman.

Just thinking about that, the other day on channel 9 they kept talking about Amla being best bat in the world despite Sangakarra holding the #1 ranking... surely Clarke must be around the mark if not better?!

Clarke has had a 300 and now a 250 which gives his stats a massive boost, still been a great 12 months for the skipper.

Only the third person to score 3 double centuries in the calendar year.

If he gets to 300, he will be the fifth person to score 2 triple centuries In a career
