Would not be knocking the Chics over the last two years. 2 flags in the cabinet, and will be very, very good heading into D2 again. A number of players think they only need a couple of good players to be around the mark this year, which is a terrific position to be in. Probably only going to be missing Pearce and will keep the others. Be very surprised if Billy Parks went anywhere, especially with JP and the family all involved. Will be around the mark when the whips are cracking in September again. Heading back to their best days, during the 1990's and early part of the 2000's. With Port District, Gepps Cross, Sacred Heart and Kilburn, it makes for a strong top four sides in D2 next year. Expect PAOC and Flinders Park, (who have just picked up a 6.4 CHB or CHF from this years Central District reserves premiership side, who has played league footy) to be exceptionally strong as well. SMOSH West Lakes are picking up plenty, with a fair bit of quality. while Walkerville are also picking up many good players from around traps, and have great depth from their reserves. Going to be tough to make the five for all of these top sides.

Looking at Port Districts early season recruiting for 2012 they proved that $money$ won't always get you a premiership, some people think a couple of players will do the trick well learn from $$Districts$$ those people ( although the 8-10 players they recruited should of got them the flag. )
Anyone heard whether Jeremy Johncock has signed with Willaston?

Forgive me, I'm a mini league rookie. Sad I know, but instead of being clever you can't just say who the player is or are we in breach of the national secrects act here?

Assume you are talking about Damian Hynes. He has some mates at Seaton. Was a very good reserves player this season.

Good luck to the neck licker at having a go at a higher level, I spoke with him a few weeks ago and the chics will still be his home club if it doesn't work out for him. Haven't spoken to billy parks, but I'd be very confident as our vice captain and a future leader of our club that he will note going any where

That surprises me, after a couple successful years you'd think he'd want to lead the club into div 2. Time will tell I guess.

No point asking now that The Big Shrek is no longer with us, although GAtt Weasel seems to know more about what goes on at Kilburn then the Kilburn Committee

I've been told both are committed to the chics next season and will not be moving on - the lure of the possibility of a 3-peat and a return for Kilburn to the top flight the year after is too irresistable..

$$ wont be a problem - if you asked Shrek he would tell you no one gets paid ;) :D

But i beleive they are about to secure a couple of sponsors to fill the gap created from last season, and a handful of players are willing to take pay cuts to keep this group together..

All in all, are Kilburn going to be the big threat to the flag people are going on about?
SHOC, Gepps coming down should pose massive threats for the flag. PD should’ve finished top but for a last round loss - could’ve cost them a spot on the GF. Add Portland, FP, Mod, even Walkies to the mix and Kilburn will need to have an exceptional season to stake a claim on the flag, especially with the constant rumours of players leaving. Not saying the Chics won’t be a good side, but they'll have to do a lot to get to the top of the Div 2 tree.

Spot on suri, but if people didn't rabble on about rumours and innuendo then they might actually have to do some work throughout their day. It's November, we haven't had a run together yet, and at this stage are looking at losing 1, and have only Interviewed 1 other. Would like to know who these other recruits are GATT!?
