If North Melbourne cops a $20K fine for not cooperating with an AFL investigation into whether a player was fit to go back on the oval after being concussed then the Crows should be flogged with a $500K fine minimum. Punishment fitting the crime!!!

Based on what?! :? I think any team that allows a concussed player to go back on the ground deserves all that they get, especially given the speed and impact in this day and age..

I have no problem with the fine North Melbourne got - keeping in mind it was for not cooperating with the investigation, not for letting the player back on the field.

I'm saying all things fair and even in the greater scheme of things what the Crows have done goes far beyond what North Melbourne did and therefore they should cop it big time.

Tell you what with all these damning posts on anyone who does wrong in anything in the AFL no wonder the rules are being changed. Crows will cop what they get but no wonder the league goes in to dooms day mode just like everything else in society when people go for the throat when ever anything goes wrong without taking 5 minutes to think from all angles. Keep complaining you're the reason why blokes such as KB still have a job.

Not saying this board keeps jobs it's just the attitude of society that people go for the throat soon as anything happens without finding facts first or letting a phase pass in terms of match day rules. If you must respond to get the last word just to satisfy your ego then go ahead but too often hot headed responses run rife in this sport.
I'm not trying to gloss over the Crows if they are found guilty then do what you must as a league but I am fed up with stupidness getting in the way of the game.

"If they are found guilty"....WTF?
Haven't they admitted it to the AFL?

Has there been an official statement from the AFL in regards to the entire happenings so far? If there has been I stand corrected. On that basis I state "if".

No there was one from the crows by Stephen Trigg admitting they had done wrong and wanted to get rid of the "doubt"

No he didn't say exactly that

The "doubt" was in reference to all the other player contracts that's what the investigation is also about and why it's taking so long to do.

You think it takes a month to investigate one email?

There should be a definitive answer on the whole shooting match not just Tippett and his exit clause. Well, I hope so anyway.

I found a better article but essentially says the sane thing. At this stage all trigg has said was he called the investigators in to check all the contracts

Overloaded added some more words compare the his post and that article

No admission of guilt ... yet

Should get the verdict this week

Bracing for the worst of course but hopefully the penalties are manageable

Overloaded is simply stating the crows have confessed that Tippett has played for 3 years under a fake contract.

THE CROWS HAVE CONFESSED TO CHEATING!!!

Please stop suggesting or making statements if the investigation does find any wrong doing. If the afl finds we have cheated .

YOU HAVE CHEATED.

All that's being investIgated is how much the crows have cheated. And what penalty should be applied.
