I still think Jamie Whincup and Will Davison are much better drivers than the Kellys. And since they have factory backing, and well established cars, they'll be at the the very top of the tree again next year.

with the COFT it won't matter how good their development is, stupidly V8 Supercars bought in a parity rule a few years back because Holden was winning too much, to the point where HRT had to give equipment they researched and developed themselves to all the other teams. I think it should be Holden, Ford and Nissan using their own cars as good as they can make them, and Erebus buy whatever they can afford from Merc and develop it

I'm tipping it will take some time for Nissan to be competitive and that they won't win a race next year.
But, if they stay the course, Holden and Ford will be in trouble in 2-3 years. Then the powers that be will probably bring in rules to nullify the Nissans so as to appease the bogans who are the key market for this form of motor racing.

I dont think it'll be entirely the cars fault though. The Kelly brothers arent exactly frontrunners anymore, even in their Holdens.

don't think will be that competitive they have a lot of work to do. I think the car will be a great car but the have to see how the car goes on each track. each reacts differently to different circuits and sadly even with the knowledge of what the track is like you can't tell how the car will roll. interesting mercedes are pushing it to be on the grid at the 500. still havent done the aerodynamic testing to see if the car will be approved to race. i'm a hrt man but i'm predicting a lowndes or whincup to take the championship, great drivers, great team and most importantly they have just sign red bull who sposer some of the best people in sport and more importantly motorsport.

I think Erebus are launching their car on Thursday, so I'm really interested in what it looks like. The Erebus cars are always such beautiful liveried cars so have high expectations of that continuing. I can't see them or Nissan doing too much this year but they will come up to speed quite quickly as they are both already established teams not like FPR or Triple 8 when they came in.

Nissan has tweaked my interest in V8 supercars. I am still a Ford fan but interested in seeing how they go.
