Glad doggies won 9 before it went to crap.

very ironic from a centrals supporter. The real SANFL kind of finished in 1990 incase you hadnt noticed but thats the price of forced progress :D

I think it is a different structure here in SA where league directors have a greater say on their comp.

That said it was pretty unanimous early from the 8 SANFL clubs that there would be NO Magpies Power merger, that changed within 12 months.

It changed pretty quick after the last massive handout from the SANFL to the Port club!
That was the final parting Dole bludger handout and it cost them their share of Footy Park, so that will be of significant benefit in years to come for the 8 true SANFL clubs that WILL remain!
Can't wait to laugh at the crap crowds at A Oval for the Flowers....

Nothing beats reading offerings from Eagles supporters writing about crap crowds. Kind of brings a level of insane balance into the world.

Given the relative strengths of the competitions and the corresponding media coverage the Eagles crowds in the SANFL are far more impressive than those of the Power in the AFL.

Let's leave alone how much Port would love a crowd as large as attended Norwood's last game.

Maybe the tail's wagging the dog for a reason.

No worries ‘TSG’.
I understand. Not everyone finds people getting stuck in a Hula Hoop funny.

Meanwhile, back on topic, I can’t see 2013 being the last year of the SANFL as we know it.
Too many good people love it too much to let it die at the hands of the un-AFL.

If there ends up being a full blown AFL reserves league then it probably would spell the end of - at least the quality of - the state leagues as we currently know them.

We love how the Port Flowers couldn't even appoint a coach with any professionalism.... bumble, bumble and stumble.. just like onfield!
K.Cornes is still their BEST player  and the SMA as well as AFL ticket prices in general are doing a nice job of making sure the same crowds eventually transfer to A Oval. 8)

Point 1: We got the Coach we and the Club wanted, so WE are very happy with the outcome.

And for you to be so small minded as to not even consider the impact of the death of a player on any process speaks volumes! L-)

That you would use someone's death in an argument on a forum shows what kind of human being you are.

Do you ever have an unwritten thought about Port Adelaide or Port Adelaide supporters?

Interesting response.

Ask yourself why sane PAFC posters like macca19 or Booney don't inspire the loathing you do and you'll be halfway towards the self awareness that'll be a good thing for everyone.
