Like the Storm and Carlton were

There are degrees of rorting in terms of what penalties will be applied.

Storm and Carlton won premierships with their rorts.

Crows appear to have achieved nothing more than keep Kurt Tippett.

While bad and we need to be punished, to compare us penalty wise to the Storm and Carlton is alarmist speculation and that's it, based on what has been reported so far.

If more comes out then fine I'll change my view. If we are Carlton mark II then we should be punished like Carlton.

So you did salary cap rort to keep Tippett no ifs or buts about it .

Salary cap rorting has nothing to do with winning premierships ??? The fact you didn't win a flag whilst you salary cap cheated doesn't make you more honorable than those who did. Just means you weren't as successful at cheating as they were that's all.

Nice deflection attempt re : Carlton Melbourne Storm and Melbourne (the late Jim stynes club)

Another example Of how low crows supporters will go to scapegoat out of this.

Hondos summary.
Crows = misunderstood
Melbourne Carlton & Storm = scum of the earth and should have the book thrown at them.

Surprising I know

And you laughed at my comprehension skills...

Who nearly won you a Prelim final. If you'd got through, who knows?

Review the facts, throw the book at em if guilty.

Nearly won a preliminary final with the player at the centre of cap cheating claims being nearly BOG.

Could argue the guy also played a large hand at us missing out on a home prelim also, played horrible against Sydney and Fremantle for that matter. I do agree though it shouldnt matter what he has done while the Crows were over the cap, it is irrelevant. I dont think it should make the penalty any different.

Crows weren't over the cap they just paid outside the cap.

Which is even more dumber and it was planned and signed by both parties.

The cows should have known better they came clean 3 years after the fact.

3 years of telling porkies!!!!!!!!

THROW THE BOOK AT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Over or outside still against the rules. I agree it was really dumb. I have thought that they knew this but risked it to keep some funds above board for others. If they hadn't put it in writing it would be hard to prove.

Having caught up on the last couple of pages a couple of things have struck me.

1. A bunch of you keep saying what if more breaches are found. To my way of thinking if this was to happen we would already know about it.

2. Comparisons with Melbourne storm are useless. That was a series of double contracts over multiple years designed to keep too much talent. The fact they have won a premiership since has nothing to do with it as they still lost almost a full team of quality players (inglis, Blair etc...) once they were found out and properly punished.

3. Since there is so little afl news at the moment this is getting way to much focus, which Melbourne and Izzy have taken away in the last few days.

I can foresee a significant fine and maybe draft picks this year going but nothing else.

The rest looks like jealous Power fans' (or other unsuccessful team's supporters') wild erotic fantasies!

Let's wait and see...
Possible ???
Yeah everyone else has no idea.
Crows fans have a track record of being open minded/unbiased in their opinion!!!
Read carefully - I said "Possible outcomes?".
I didn't say it was possible the Crows had done nothing - they have admitted what they did.

It has yet to be established by the AFL whether what they did constitutes a breach of the rules and if so how serious.
If it is a established by the enquiry to be a serious breach of the rules - then the options I proposed may apply.
