Bazza you've really taken to the silly season and gone proper mental. Dids won't leave Mannum, he's practically a local and Pechy is our favourite son who turned the muddy waters of Mannum to a clarity far beyond our wildest dreams. There won't be much news coming out Mannum for the rest of the year, though you can't discount the Puppetmaster Hall pulling a few more strings ;)

Good call P.B you peanut. Had a certain individual confirm that Harvey and Pech were both seen at Minlaton Community Club today deep in discussion with three other gentleman. I'm telling you, this thing is happening.

Being fine and upstanding citizens they do a lot of community service that is why they were at Minlaton (not to mention the cheap beers).
Both players are committed to Mannum for season 2013 and will continue to spread the word on their rural tour.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

Nice cold beers at the club after a days fishing. That's probably all it was.

Cant leave you blokes for 5 minutes !!! Firstly Harvey was not with Pech at Minlaton, he was on his own with 3 others who were 1) his financial advisor / accountant, 2) a representitive from Ashley and Martin . 3) his vasectimy surgeon who he is thinking of sueing as the procedure has not worked. Seriously if he wanted to go, Mannum should let him go, great bloke , but like Tippett over rated, and over paid, and toooo old, Mannum should take my advise and let him go. I also notice someone mentioned Rhys Bullard!!! cant play, wont train, bad attitude, and serial umpire abuser , everyone should stay well clear . probably best off at Mannum this year if he wants to change, seems like a good environment being introduced there. Wont learn stuff all at Karoonda and Ramblers now with Neil Hein ??? well that is even worse. He certainly would not be wanted here at Imps.

There was some champagne comedy in there UTB, but your observations on Diddles are wrong. You seem to have an obsession in criticsing Harvey and Quinny. Surely there must be some level of respect for two guys who have clearly achieved a lot more than your great self on the field.

Is it true that Mannum have another huge signing in Jade Sheedy? If this is correct surely they would be over there points allocation already, especially seems as they've resigned all the recruits from last yr, can u confirm this PB or Bazza?

You probably need to part with one or two anyway to fit these gun recruits in.
Going on the performances of a couple of last yrs recruits I don't think mannum would miss them anyway!!

If they get Sheedy, the Roos will almost start favourites for season 2013, although, like season 2012, they presumably won't have the depth of the MB clubs, so a lot would depend on how they go with injuries throughout the season.

So 6 months away from round 1, its seems Imps, Ramblers and Mannum will be right up there; Mypo and Meningie appear to be unknowns, whilst Jervois and Tailem would need to recruit very well to be in contention.

The gale force winds blew some quality footballers Mannum's way. Sheedy is not the only big name being associated with them. Hally has been a busy boy.

If they maintain their current recruits they will each minus -1 point each. Think they currently have 7 or 8 recruits. So should gain 7 or 8 points to fit Clayton and Sheedy in. If they are struggling for points they may just have to play a junior or two. IMO, Healthy for the competition bringing a couple Magary Medalists into the comp and taking it up to the MB sides. The RMFL has always been proactive in attracting high profile players such as McLeod in an effort to build it into the strongest league in SA.

A centre square combination of Hall, Sheedy and Clayton is better than most SANFL clubs'.

I do recall Sheedy has thought about leaving Sturt in the past but has re-signed when they have signed other players and shown that they will be more competitive.

no word on that yet would imagine it will be announced soon seeing as there was a meeting recently about it, but the RMFL have ammended the Player Points System to close the loophole that allowed Mannum to get a couple of players last year for zero points.
