Being the lone striker every time it is going to be difficult for him. I dont think his performances can be soley based on his goal tally.

Out of the 4(?) games his now played tonight has been his only 'bad' performance.

Against Fulham he was amazing, he dominated Arsenal and set up 2 of the goals against Southampton last week.

LMFAO .. That didn't seem to be a valid reason when he was in the identical situation at Liverpool last season, I hope when I track back through posts here I dont find previous skeptical comments from vous!! ;)

decent game so far - man utd went 2-0 up, before chelsea pulled one back just before half time.

hate to say it, RVP looks the goods in this game at the moment, and we need to improve 100% if we are going to get anything from them next week.

Ivanovic should have no complaints, straight red everyday of the week.
Torres was a bit stiff, did make a meal of it but reckon there was contact made.
Hernandez was offside with the winner but until soccer gets up with the times and uses technology we will have to put up with decisions like this.
Must say both sides looked fragile at the back

Arsenal getting a lesson in team football from Man U .. Only 2-nil, but Wilshere just sent off for putting his own frustrations ahead of the team

Must admit I was dissppointed with Arsenal's approach. I think scoring early didnt help as Arsenal tried to shut shop after that. Your effort last season was far better, even though you lost 8-2 you still kept attacking and were far more positive than last night, obviously Wenger didnt want a repeat of that but our defence is quite shaky and not to fire a shot until injury time was quite poor. Defending didnt help you guys, I rate Vermaelan highly but he had an off day and Metersacker is terrible so I didnt expect anything differant from him.
I believe that is Arsenal's worst ever start in the EPL, would think the credits that Wenger has built up over the years are running out quickly

no, last season was still. if we lose against fulham this weekend then it will be, still, in a way, i actually want us to miss the champions league for this season positions if it comes down to it, to show wenger his tactics and style of play is ruining our fine club. And then maybe, he will change. Since we have moved to the emirates we have tried this passing style of play, and it has got us nothing, yet he continues with it.

I never wish for us to miss out on anything, but maybe it will be for the good to wake wenger up.

He is too stubborn and will never change his tactics.
Arsenal have to bite the bullet and make the change

United win 3-2 after trailing 2-0 early in the second half. Chicarito came off the bench and scored a hattie, his 2nd goal was later given an own goal.
United absolutely battered Villa in the last 30 minutes, turned in a shooting gallery, RVP hit the bar twice in a minute.

justice was served, was not a penalty, and we got what we deserved, a save from schwart. But still, it was served to us on a plate with the last kick of the game, and we still couldnt finish
