One thing to talk about there Jack Page where did he come from and why is he playing at Gum's????? can bat and heard he is a more than handy spinner.
Jack Page has been playing with Gum for at least 2 or 3 years, maybe longer. Hits the ball hard. His brother opens the bowling for them, but unsure if they’re both locals or not.
From memory he didn’t bowl too much after xmas last season, but with Dutschke back at Woodside (swaps between Woodside and Gum every season it seems) they might need some overs from him.
Round 3 sees:
Cambrai v Mt Torrens. You’d expect Mt Torrens to win here, although never easy winning up at Cambrai.
Paracombe v Gumeracha. GF rematch and early battle for top spot.
Lenswood v Palmer. Hard one to predict, both teams hot and cold.
Eden Valley v Birdwood. Depends a bit on the fitness of big Ugg and Starick. Birdwood a silly chance here.

A&EH, bit of rain about will this help the sides Bowling this week i think so, especially if they are on turf.
Strath might give Nairne a hurry u but i can't see them beating them
Ashbourne, wow big score by the Creek lads but on a small oval and on the Ashbourne oval i think the English lads might enjoy. It will be like playing back home, Ashbourne to chase them down but need to get past a couple of bowlers and that's it.
Woodside, not ideal for them but have a strong bowling attack would expect them to roll them if they get to the middle order quickly with the ball still new and Galvin firing
Lobethal, wow what a great side over the last decade. I think the old boys will pull through and get them to 228 might be wrong though.

Creeks finally managed a few breakthroughs leading up to tea including the big wicket of Stidston - RUN OUT in a terrible mix up right on the break. They were still on track as overs wern't a problem and with Roberts looking good but he unfortunately run out another partner going for a 3rd run in an attempt to keep the strike and eventually through his own wicket away as he ran out of partners. Baker 45 odd, Harding & Roberts 75 odd.
L.Ck 8/323 & 3/100 odd def Ashbourne 267.
Credit to Ashbourne for recruiting these guys to strengthen their team and the comp and i'm sure a few wins are not far off for them.

Round 5 Tips
Sat 10 Nov, 17 Nov(1:00 PM) Nairne v Wistow (Nairne Oval) - Nairne to win for me, just too strong.
Sat 10 Nov, 17 Nov(1:00 PM) Langhorne Creek v Woodside (Langhorne Creek Oval) - Will be a good game, will go for the Creek on their home turf, assuming B Warren plays.
Sat 10 Nov, 17 Nov(1:00 PM) Lobethal v Ashbourne (Lobethal Oval) - Interesting game, surely Lobey to get a season opening win at home!
Sat 10 Nov, 17 Nov(1:00 PM) Hahndorf v Strathalbyn (Hahndorf Oval) - If Strath can pick up Hassold for under 50, they win, if he makes another ton, then Hahndorf can win it.
